The Sharjah Art Foundation hosted their second workshop titled 'The Art of Book Making'  on Thursday 4th of November with assistant professor and artist from the college of Fine Art and Design Tom Baggaley who showed participants how to make and bind concertina books; fold-out books, that look like an accordion.

A crowd of around 20 youngsters attended the workshop, and some,  with the help of their parents set to work making the leather bound notebooks. It was a wonderful hands on experience and the participants enjoyed it very much. Students from the college of Fine Art and Design were present to aid the participants, and further explain the process.

The children were eager to create their books, some of whom had previously attended workshops by the Foundation. The parents were also very pleased with the activities offered by the Foundation and anticipated future events and workshops.
