Sharjah Biennial 10 Prize winning artist and professor Imran Qureshi led a family art workshop on Saturday where he taught children the methods of traditional miniature painting using organic elements. After a brief introduction and conversation with the children he demonstrated how to make paste, wasli paper, brushes, tea washes, gliding and marbling. The end results were colorful miniature paintings that the children took home with them. The children enjoyed creating the paintings together and learning the various techniques behind miniature painting.

This workshop is part of a series of educational workshops hosted by the Sharjah Art Foundation that are running for the duration of the Biennial.
