Art and Technology Workshop

Sound artist Tarek Atoui is conducting an art and technology workshop with six artists exploring the application of new technologies to different art practices.

Each artist is developing a project that was initiated during a series of introductory workshops that Tarek Atoui held in different Arab countries. These workshops aimed to introduce the participants to how interactive technologies may be applied to art forms such as sound, performance and installation. The artists now come together in Sharjah to build on these first ideas and make a collective public presentation of the completed projects.

8. A public presentation of the performances and installations will be held on Tuesday 30 November at 7.30pm in Bait Al Serkal, Sharjah Arts Area.
