Overview

Inter-Resonance: Inter-Organics, Japanese Performance and Sound Art marks the second edition of Sharjapan, Sharjah Art Foundation’s four-year collaboration with curator Yuko Hasegawa. Focusing on performances and sound-based installations, this exhibition brings together traditional Japanese practices and new technologies to explore relationships between nature and human life.
Throughout the exhibition, a series of dance, music and theatre performances will take place at various locations in Sharjah. Sound art installations featuring natural elements and technological innovations will be on view in historic Bait Obaid Al Shamsi. The six participating artists are Eitetsu Hayashi, Yuko Mohri, Mirai Moriyama, Tomoko Sauvage, Keiichiro Shibuya and Min Tanaka.
