The Soft Press

With Jessica Ounga (Nairobi Print Project)

Ages 16+

In English

Have you ever printed on fabric? This hands-on session invites you to experiment with techniques for transferring images onto fabric, bridging the worlds of printmaking and textiles. Drawing on processes of layering and translation, we’ll explore how textures, texts and images can migrate across surfaces to create unexpected material narratives. Apply these new skills to create your own unique fabric print.

This session is free, and all materials are provided by Sharjah Art Foundation.

The Foundation is committed to making its programmes inclusive and accessible. You will find disability access symbols for this session on the registration form. Kindly contact us in advance to arrange for any support needed.
