Overview

The artist writes the word 'ah' in black ink on water. This syllable is a sacred sound in many religions around the world, found in Allah, amen, Amitabha, ah om and alleluia. The voices of a group of people from various religious backgrounds are heard chanting 'Ah', which creates vibrations in the water and dissolves the physical form of the letters. This work aspires to awaken an inner sense of spirituality.
