Begin with a tour of Vantage Point 13, and then settle in for a conversation with Ammar Al Attar, who will speak about his photographic practice and his engagement with memory, place and material culture in the UAE. Drawing on the works in Vantage Point 13, Al Attar will consider how photography can document, preserve and construct histories. He will also reflect on the development of photography in the UAE and the wider region and discuss how these histories continue to inform contemporary photographic practice.
