Along with announcements of our year-round open calls and grants which support emerging and established artists working in contemporary art, Sharjah Art Foundation has compiled a list of reputable local, regional and international open calls, educational opportunities, grants and residencies in other institutions. 2026 Artlab Editorial Fellowship Open Call

Hyundai Artlab

Deadline: 9 March 2026

 

This fellowship is open to art writers from anywhere in the world and at any career stage. The two selected fellows will each receive 10,000 USD to produce three pieces of writing every other month for Artlab Editorial in 2026 and will be paired with one of this year’s Fellowship Advisors, Mira Dayal and Gary Zhexi Zhang, for regular one-on-one guidance and mentorship throughout the programme.

International Residency Program 2026 Open Call

National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Taichung

National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts’ residency program aims to promote international exchange and advance research on its collections by opening the museum’s institutional and research resources to artists, curators, art historians, critics, theorists and museum professionals. This opportunity particularly welcomes proposals engaging with its collections, Taiwanese art history, Taiwanese artists and Technology Art.
