Sharjah Art Foundation invites UAE-based artists, designers, artist-led initiatives and collectives with an interest in independent and experimental publishing to apply for the ninth edition of Focal Point. This year’s iteration of Sharjah’s annual art book fair takes place at Bait Obaid Al Shamsi, Arts Square, Sharjah, from 11 to 13 December 2026.
Applicants should submit a proposal describing the type of printed materials they would like to display. These materials can include, but are not limited to, artist books, zines, magazines, prints, stickers and posters. Illustrations, images and/or excerpts from the printed materials should accompany the proposal.
The selected applicants will be able to display and sell their items at the fair. They may also have an opportunity to curate a table showcasing works from their community.
