Munira Al Sayegh is an independent curator who has curated exhibitions such as The Cup and the Saucer, Warehouse421, Abu Dhabi (2020); Gulf Now, Art Dubai (2019, 2020); The Creative Act: Performance, Process, Presence, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi (2017); and Bayn, Abu Dhabi Art (2017). Al Sayegh has participated in panels examining the importance of non-institutional thinking and rhetoric in refining what local and regional art looks like from the bottom up. She has also published various articles on the region’s contemporary art scene.
