Producer and director Laila Aoudj contributes to several audiovisual and cinematographic projects, both in Algeria and overseas. After a post-graduate degree at EM Strasbourg Business School and a stint at FEMIS, she joined the Bejaia International Film Festival where she became artistic director and programmer for five years. Aoudj was the artistic director of the sixth edition of the European Film Festival of Algiers (2021). She co-founded Dima Cinema (2019), a platform dedicated to the establishment of an alternative film distribution network in Algeria.
