Deepika Suseelan is a film festival professional with more than 12 years of experience in film programming, ideation, curation and film festival management. Currently, she is the Artistic Director of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK). Suseelan started her career as a programme assistant for IFFK (2010) and became the programme manager of the festival in 2014. Later, she joined the International Film Festival of India, one of the oldest film festivals in Asia, as a senior film programmer. She has been a jury member for various international film festivals. Suseelan holds a post graduate degree in Communication and Journalism from the University of Kerala (2010). She was born in 1986 in Kerala where she continues to live and work.
