Artwork Details:
Amir Nour was known for his geometric sculptural works, which eloquently reflect the architecture and landscapes of his homeland, Sudan. His sculptures were not only influenced by western minimalist abstractions but were also profoundly rooted in his personal experiences and understanding of Sudanese culture and history. Among his works, Moon (2016), a whole sphere, intertwines concepts of structural purity and simplicity with Africanist ideas of rhythm and harmony.
