This exhibition guide served as a companion to the 11th edition of Vantage Point Sharjah, Sharjah Art Foundation’s annual photography initiative. Featuring and discussing the works on display, the publication illustrates the participants’ diverse approaches and overlapping tendencies, which include the pursuit of contemporary image-making techniques, re-contextualisation of found or inherited images and engagement with the visual afterlives of colonialist legacies.

Selected through an international open call, the participating artists in the exhibition included Oumaima Abaraghe, Yashna Kaul, Mohamed Mahdy, Clea Rekhou and Postbox Ghana, which is made up of Nana Ofosu Adjei, Courage Dzidula Kpodo and Manuela Nebuloni.
