Overview

The 12th edition of Vantage Point Sharjah, Sharjah Art Foundation’s annual photography exhibition, featured a constellation of personal and collective narratives by artists Sara Kontar, Thasil Suhara Backer, Arum Dayu and Mosfiqur Rahman Johan, who were selected through an international open call. This publication elucidates their approaches to analogue and digital image-making and their explorations of themes such as ecology and biopolitics, feminism and motherhood, exile and displacement.
