Most exhibitions and events are free and open to the public.
To avoid long waiting times and ensure smoother, more seamless visits to our exhibitions, prebook your ticket below.
Booklets with information about the artist and the works on view are free and available in all venues while the exhibition is on view. Booklets for past exhibitions can be found at SAF Shops.
Guided tours
Book a free tour for either an individual or a group. Gain special insight into our ongoing shows, and discover new perspectives on local culture, history and architecture.
Available at all venues, guided tours are offered in five languages: Arabic, English, Farsi, Hindi and Urdu.

Autumn 2025 and Spring 2026 bus tours:
Sharjah Art Foundation offers bus tours around Autumn 2025 and Spring 2026 exhibitions. The tour covers our exhibitions for each season in both Sharjah and Kalba with experienced guides in every location to give insides about architecture, cultural and art!
Our tours are estimated to be at the following months:

- Mid December 2025
- Late February 2026
- Late March 2026
- Late May 2026

Paid parking can be found close to the venues, either on nearby streets or in public parking lots.
Free public WiFi is available in all the venues.
Small backpacks and baby strollers are permitted inside the venues, but larger items should be left in lockers or with a Foundation guide.
Drinking fountains are available in the centre of each venue. Food and drinks are not allowed in exhibition spaces, but Fen Café or other restaurants near our venues offer coffee and snacks that can be enjoyed before and after exhibition visits.
Men’s and women’s washrooms as well as wheelchair-accessible facilities are located in all the venues.
Visitors are encouraged to take photos and videos with phones, post the images on social media and tag us. For any professional photography, however, explicit prior permission is needed from Sharjah Art Foundation. To obtain a photography permit, click here.
Visitors are welcome to sketch in notebooks with pencils, but paint and easels are not permitted.
