In Mohamed Toukabri's latest solo, movement becomes both excavation and rebellion. Known for his ability to navigate between worlds—street and stage, hip-hop and postmodernism, personal and political. This piece pulses with the urgency of decolonising the imagination, carving out a space where dance traditions do not compete but converse, where forms long dismissed as ‘low’ hold their own against the canonised. The title is both a provocation and a reminder that the weight of history moves with us. What responsibility do we carry in what we pass on, in what we erase or uphold? Toukabri's performance is an invitation to step beyond the known, into a realm where all bodies, all histories, belong.
