Transform a blank sheet of paper into a distinctive artwork using a range of printmaking techniques.
Learn how to make hatching with graphite and ink that builds rhythm and texture through tonal variation. Develop an understanding of tonal values, and build collaged compositions inspired by urban landscapes in greyscale.
Discover the language of graphic art through typographic and geometric compositions as you reproduce the work of internationally recognised artists.
Fashion a monoprint to explore how a surface becomes a site of impression and how repetition can generate new and unexpected variations with every iteration.
Tackle collagraph printing, and experience the effect of different materials in relief printing. Experiment with stencil spraying to create abstract compositions that introduce the principles of planographic printmaking.
The fee is 300 AED, and all materials are provided.
