Expand the boundaries of your artistic practice through the use of different materials. Mix media, and experiment with contemporary approaches to making art.

First, visit Jorge Tacla’s exhibition to consider how he engages with material and surface. Reflect on how he transforms everyday materials into tools of artistic expression.

Then select subjects drawn from imagination or direct observation, and construct your own surfaces from recycled fabrics, repurposed paper and found materials. You can integrate acrylic paint as well.

Embrace bold experimentation with layering and the combinations of materials. Explore balance and interaction between colour and substance.

The fee is 200 AED, and all materials are provided.
