About the instructor
Born and based in Dubai, Emirati artist Maryam Alshamsi has been passionate about art from a young age. Although she creates intricately detailed illustrations using both traditional and digital methods, her preference is to work with pen and ink. The artist draws inspiration from the natural environment, textures, colours and daily conversations.
