What can a photograph capture, and what slips away? How is photography shaped by absence as much as presence?
Taking Image Keepers: Photographic Works from the Sharjah Art Foundation Collection as a point of departure, join other photographers, artists and curious viewers to examine what can be obscured, displaced or unresolved in photographic images.
You are invited to bring your own photographs to the meetup—images that rely on shadow, low visibility or ambiguity. Placing them in dialogue with the exhibition, consider how the significance of images can shift when they are seen alongside others.
The session will conclude with a short sequencing exercise. Arrange images in different configurations to explore how narratives can emerge through fragmentation, repetition and silence.
This session is free, and all materials are provided.
