A Dubai-based experimental music project, NOON’s distinctive sound embodies funk groove, African and Indian percussive rhythms alongside electronic effects. Formed by drummer Ratish Chadha, oud player Mohamed Hosny and bassist Steve Bedford, the ‘experimental Oriental’ music combines their diverse cultural and musical backgrounds to fuse traditional West Asian eastern music with polyrhythmic jazz/rock.
