A lyrical duet that weaves together music and poetry, Searching for Love transports audiences to the streets of Cairo to examine themes of love, alienation and longing. Director and writer Nanda Mohammad joins composer and violinist Mohammed Sami to offer a deeply personal reflection on the emotional journey of their long marriage. Together, they explore aspects of their relationship, revealing how true love can endure even in a fragmented world. Each performer expresses themselves through their art: Nanda with words, and Sami with the violin. Inviting the audience to contemplate the fragility of human connection, Searching for Love urges us to rediscover the affection we have for our cities and for one another.
