Stories and Tools from the Sea

How did coastal communities fish before modern equipment was available? Meet a fisher or resident of Al Hamriyah to discover traditional fishing tools and hear stories connected to the sea. Draw from the forms of these tools to create your own artworks with selected materials, exploring the relationship between fishing, craft and the sea.

This session is free, and all materials are provided by Sharjah Art Foundation.
