How can colour reshape a visual landscape?
As you develop an understanding of the colour wheel, explore the subtle distinctions between hue, value, saturation and intensity. Learn about primary, secondary and tertiary colours and the role of neutral colours in creating depth and atmospheric perspective. Examine analogous and complementary colour relationships and how they influence visual composition.
Then take part in practical exercises that reveal the ways colour shapes visual perception. Experiment with watercolour and pastel techniques, and build your skill in colour mixing, tonal gradation and layered application.
The fee is 200 AED, and all materials are provided.
Sharjah Art Foundation is committed to making its programmes inclusive and accessible. You can arrange for any support needed through the registration form.
