Watch time unfold through the repetition and reconstruction of an image. Find inspiration in the art of Gino Severini, Gerhard Richter, Francesca Woodman and Claudette Johnson, whose work treats the line not as a fixed boundary, but as a temporal trace.
Begin by drawing a single form, whether a human figure or a botanical subject, using a contour line. Then, working with graphite, charcoal and ink, redraw the form from successive viewpoints, introducing subtle shifts in position and proportion so that the lines begin to overlap and the image gradually loses its sense of stability. Approach repetition as a process of gradual transformation that reveals movement within a single form.
The fee is 100 AED, and all materials are provided.
