How can clay imitate the texture and detail of wood? Explore the distinctive patterns and textures of wood grain by shaping clay and learn to use a variety of tools to carve lines and patterns. Apply these techniques to tiles or ceramic pieces, drawing on the organic structures of wood to create contemporary works that combine craft and experimentation,
