FOCAL POINT 2021 will take place on 9 – 11 December 2021 in Sharjah Art Foundation’s Bait Obaid Al Shamsi. It will bring together the work of 120+ publishers, magazines, artists, editors, authors and makers from the UAE and MEASA region.

In conjunction, the fair will open with a talks programme held at The Flying Saucer featuring recent releases from SAF Publishing, The Africa Institute and winners of SAF’s annual publishing grant in 2019 and 2020, as well as announce the winners of the 2021 edition. Launched in 2018, FOCAL POINT is an annual art book fair held in Sharjah by the Foundation to support, catalyse and promote interdisciplinary publishing practices as part of the arts ecology.
