Learning Spaces

You can take part in learning sessions in venues across the Emirate of Sharjah—from galleries, heritage buildings and exhibition spaces in Sharjah City to the Foundation’s art centres in Al Hamriyah, Al Dhaid, Al Madam, Khorfakkan, Kalba and Dibba Al Hisn. See below for the Foundation venues used for learning activities.

You can also expand your learning in the SAF Reference Library, located in the Foundation’s Bank Street offices. The library has over 5,000 holdings, including books, exhibition catalogues, art magazines, digital archives, architectural projects and audiovisual materials.

Facilities for Hire

In addition to the spaces for workshops and courses, the Foundation has facilities that can be booked for personal projects. A RISO lab, darkroom and pottery studio are available in Sharjah Art Institute, Arts Square, while Bait Obaid Al Shamsi, Arts Square, offers co-working spaces.
