Ana Maria Gutiérrez

An architect, artist and educator, Ana Maria Gutiérrez is the founder of Fundación Organizmo, Colombia’s first Training & Research Center for Regeneration and Intercultural Knowledge,  where she has worked for over 15 years developing methodologies that bring together local resources, ancestral knowledge and contemporary design. Her practice operates at the intersection of field-based experimentation and academic research, producing both tangible architectures and theoretical frameworks for climate justice and regeneration. Recognised as an Ashoka Fellow and a British Council Climate Change Leader, Gutiérrez works across the Amazonian, Pacific, Andean and desert regions of Colombia, collaborating with communities on processes of ecological restoration, cultural resilience and equitable futures.
