Benji Boyadgian

Benji Boyadgian (b. 1983, Jerusalem) studied at the École nationale supérieure d’architecture de Paris-La Villette, specialising in urban sociology in post-conflict contexts. Working across painting and interdisciplinary practices, Boyadgian explores questions of perception, memory, environment, architecture and landscape. His recent exhibitions include RETURN: Experiences of Returning in the Mediterranean Area, Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations, Marseille (2024); EVA International, Limerick, Ireland (2021); For the Phoenix to Find Its Form in Us, SAVVY Contemporary, Berlin (2021); Yerevan Biennial, digital exhibition (2020); Guests: Artists and Craftspeople, Istanbul Modern, Istanbul (2019); Intimate Terrains, Palestinian Museum, Birzeit (2019); and Jerusalem Show IV: Actual and Possible, Al Ma’mal Foundation for Contemporary Art, Jerusalem (2018).
