Carlos Andrés Fernández Rodríguez lives and works in the southern mountains of the city of San José, Costa Rica. His work has been featured in numerous international exhibitions and biennials, including presentations at Palais de Tokyo, Paris; Bündner Kunstmuseum, Chur; Fuso, Lisbon; Despacio and Museo de Arte y Diseño Contemporáneo (MADC), San José. He has also participated in the FEMSA Biennial, Mexico; Intermittent Rivers Biennial, Matanzas, Cuba; and 9th Central American Biennial, Guatemala. His work is held in the KADIST collection. Fernández received the Random Institute Award (2017) and was the winner of the 8th Costa Rica Biennial.
