Shoaib Kaminpour Bandari is a composer, guitarist and music producer whose work spans contemporary music, film and theatre. He holds a degree in music from Islamic Azad University (Central Branch). His practice moves between composition, live performance and sound production. Kaminpour Bandari is a core member of the Kamakan Music Band, and has performed internationally as a composer and guitarist, including at Expo 2020 Dubai. His compositions for cinema and documentary include Fish Eye (2020) and I Want to Be a King, presented at IDFA (2020). He has also been involved in theatre and interdisciplinary performances, including productions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and appearances at festivals such as Tehran Independent Theatre and the Hungary Festival. Alongside his performance work, he is active in music education and independent projects, and is the founder of Ardaviraf Band and Gatt Band.
