Playground Patterns as Art

Ages 6–10
In English and Arabic

Sketch the fun shapes and patterns you discover as you meander through Al Majarrah Park. Notice the markings on the football pitch and the basketball court, the curves of the trampolines and the winding ropes of the climbing structures. After your walk, translate your observations into a colourful abstract artwork using oil pastels and crayons.
