The Hook is designed as a platform for supporting art writing in the region and beyond. Writers are invited to develop a response to a single work on view at any of the Sharjah Art Foundation venues. In order to help foster new voices, texts are commissioned from pitches, rather than assigned. Writers will receive an honorarium for their contributions.
